Abstract

The contribution presents an experience of applying the narrative - autobiographical method as an innovative device aimed at soliciting the recognition and self-recognition of the life experiences of university students attending the Pedagogy of Family Relations course at the Federico II University. An autobiographical narration activity was implemented within the Laboratory of Clinical and Pedagogical Intervention Methodologies which for the students proved to be particularly useful not only for the experimentation of a new device to be reused in future professional contexts, but also for the creation of a pedagogically functional space-time for the self-recognition of significant learning, emotions, images of oneself and thoughts, the latter dimensions that are difficult to intercept. KEY WORDS: EXPERIENCE, STORYTELLING, LEARNING, AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL METHOD, TRAINING, MEANING OF LIFE
